    Coralife Protein Skimmer....

The octo 150 will kick the stuffing out of a coralife 125, but I happen to be an ASM fan myself. The Octo will give you more bang for the buck, and will not be as difficult to adjust. I have a coralife 220 that I used for about 6 months, I then upgraded to an ASM G3. The only complaint I had...

    Lionfish in a 37 gallon?

My volitans have gone from the 4" purchase size to about 13" in just over18 months they would not be able to turn around in your tank, not to mention the bioload. Go with a dwarf they are cool fish, and get up to 6" they are not tiny fish. Here is a of shot of one of mine

    A question for mboswell1982

another reason bio wheels and bio balls are considered "nitrate factories" is the due to the fact the there is such a high concentration of oxygen that huge numbers of bacteria can colonize a smaller are. This bacteria will process waste at an incredibly fast rate, they will also produce the end...

    Turbo Twist 12x 36W UV Sterilizer ????

I have had one on my aggressive foe about 3 years now. I like it but I am not completely sold on their benefits. It is a sturdy unit, with good seals, it does not leak, the replacement bulbs are a little pricey at $60. I slowed the flow on mine to about 1/2 of what the manufacturer specified.

    8" Volitan price range?

I agree with the above, the thing about lions is they grow very fast a 4" lion will be 8-10" in about 12 months. That is why they don't command as high of prices as large angels, tangs and triggers which tend to grow much slower.

Now I dont know what fish to add

Generally lions are not to be put with aggressive triggers, large angels and most puffers, this is all based on the individual fish, is your puffer nippy? Lions fins are prone to being nipped at by the above fish, and they are usually not able to defend themselves against fast aggressive fish...

    My New Baby Clarion!

In a QT where you can easily do hypo, and medicate, the ick and flukes commonly carried can be taken care of easily and are not a big deal. The most important thing is that the fish eats, in my experience as long as you can keep a fish eating well it can survive minor infections etc with ease.

    Say hi to Fluffy

Red Sea undy's are said to be more colorful and less aggressive than those from the indian ocean. I don't know if there is any truth to this but I have read it in more than one place, however red sea undy's are very rare. Also from what I understand the lines on the face may indicate the fish is...

    Pics of 150 w/ 8" Volitan

    Pics of 150 w/ 8" Volitan

are you cycling the tank with the lion and eel? If your trites were off the charts, you are not done cycling yet. Adding anymore fish is asking for trouble, you shouldn't have any fish in there now.

    Hamlet & Tusk eating pellets

try some fresh clams, squid and shrimp from the grocery store, they will do better on that, then feed pellets alternately. Just make sure the sea food is raw, not cooked.
