I was digging through the storage shed and found my 45 gallon tank. Is 45 a good tank for saltwater or would I be better off just going freshwater like it was to begin with ? I've heard that a 45 is a little tall for saltwater cause the lighting doesn't reach the bottom very well. Either way...

my clowns started acting goofy yesterday so i looked closer and there is a herd of eggs on the live rock. now what do i do, will they actually hatch or is everyone else gonna eat them. they seem to guard it pretty good and don't let anyone else near them. if they do hatch, how long does it take...

i had this same problem in a 55 ...... i told my guy at the lfs about it ( he's my guru ) here's what i did ...... take half of the water out and put it in the bath tub, take all live rock and put it in bath tub with the water you took out of tank stir the snot out of the sand ( substrate )...
