yes your right,,,,, i should have stated that it is a Condy Anemoneand its about 5 "tall obout an inch from the end of the tentacles it fades from white to a light pink very healthy looking critter

another idea what i do is go to the local fabric store (or wal*mart ) and get a piece of fabric in any color or design you like and get some really good 2 sided tape ( i use the 3M type for hanging pictures on the wall ) and put the tape around the outside edges of the tank and stick the...

what i do is go to wal* mart and pick out a piece of fabric and get some really good 2 sided tape put the tape around the outside edges and stick the fabric on the back of the tank. after a year or so i'll change the fabric just to give it a new look. been doing that for years hope that helps Jeff

ok i tested my water today and NH3,NH4is down to 0 but the no2 are still up a bit, by a bit i mean 0.8. Is it still to early to add a clean up crew or is this a good time to do it ? Ph is at 8.3 what is a good clean up crew to get ? I have a 55 gallon with about 46lbs of fiji live rock. are...

see what i'm most worried about is, the southdown sand is very dusty and clouds up anytime something touches the bottom and i'm trying to eliminate the dusty part. Will the aragonite help keep the dust down ? thanx Jeff

if the o ring is missing on your collection cup instead of spending $8 try putting a wide rubber band around it ........... basically the same thing or you can try an auto parts store and bring the cup along to find one that fits around the cup snuggly

ok folks heres one to pick everyone's brain right now i have southdown sand in my 55 gallon with 46 lbs of liverock. today i got a 20 lb. bag of arag-alive. The guy at the lfs told me i could just dump it on top of my southdown, but i was wondering if the sand should be removed and replaced...

well there's 1 thing i forgot to mention. this tank is still cycling, its only about 2 weeks old with no living crittrs in it yet. so a clean up crew would have to wait a while yet, am i correct ? thanks Jeff
