    Lionfish? :help:

It would get along because the body shape is one of those thats hard to swallow. Problem comes in again with tank size and the small scorpion is toast once the lion is big enough to eat it. The volitans will hit full size (15" long) within 18 months.

    Dwarf Lion (zebra perticulary)...??

Actually you probably could do it, but would not want to at the same time. I have a full size zebra and a 20 gallon sump, he would fit just fine. Problem with it is your type of tank. Lions are messy fish and produce alot of waste if fed correctly(one or two small shrimp a day). Depending on the...

    Lionfish? :help:

Thats a dwarf lion of some kind, from the back my guess would be fuzzy dwarf. Your wife might not like the idea of having a 15 inch long fish in even a 75 gallon a few months down the road. Get at least a 100 gallon if you want a volitan, personally I would go bigger. In addition yoiu will be...

    cleaner shrimp with a sfe

My guess is since the shrimp is already there, the new eel will probably not bother it.

    Lionfish ? maybe problem?

A vols will reach full size in less than 18 months so if its only a foot long then it prolly isnt a volitan lion. A Russel's lion is very similar in appearance and habits to a Vols, but maxes out at a foot in length. Its possible the puffer hurt him, lions and puffers do not make good tank...

    shark pond

Look at pond liners for a pond. I didnt read to see if it was indoor or outdoors but a pondliner would work in the second case. If you go that route do not buy the liner from an actual pond/garden center because you will pay out the wazoo for it. There are companies that make liners for big...

    stargazer

that depends on: A: how big the panther and triggers are and B: how big the stargazer is. Stargazer = big mouth.

    Lions And Clowns

skip the tang and it should work. I have the same setup(with a goby instead of one of the clowns) with fish and its very tellable if I add something else. My water quality goes downhill and algae comes out hard. Lions are really messy fish and my guess would count almost double for bioload. Also...

    A Nice Tank, many pics

I could see you having to often replace chromises with a blacktip in there, but then if you can afford a 5k tank you can afford replacing chromises.

    stargazer

depending on the species, the one that looks most similar to the pics on SWF.com get to up to 17.5 inches long which is big enough to eat most of your fish and i didnt even look to see how big your tank was.

    stargazer

Stargazers have big mouths so anything small is lunch. You need a deep sandbed for them to live in as well. The electrical jolt is no joke either, it could put a serious hurting on you and even more to your fish.

    cleaner shrimp w/ a grouper??

It works great in the wild but whether it works in your tank is another question. There are alot of things that work in the wild but do not work here. Coral banded Shrimp for example are cleaners in the wild but 99.9% of the time they do not do that in captivity. The way you could try it is get...

    Lions And Clowns

A vols will eat them as is stated above. I have the second setup and it works fine. I have a 2 and a half year old perc clown living with a fully grown zebra and the lion is not big enough to eat the clown. There is also a smaller orange spotted goby which after a year remains uneaten as well...

    Dwarf Lions

You will need a skimmer for sure. Lions are messy eaters. You might try a wet/dry if this is going to be a fish only tank, I have heard wet/drys are not good for tanks although I havent experienced any difficulties with them with soft corals. I have also heard but not tried Fluidized Bed...

    another seahorse researcher

Having been successful at pipefish and partially successful at seahorses, i will take a shot. I had them in a 65 gallon tank with a wet/dry. There was and is lots of macro-algae growing, a DSB and some lower light, non-stinging corals such as zoos and murfrooms :P. A clown and blenny will both...

    NO Fish Available??

Very difficult to ship live stuff right now with all the Christmas shipping going on. My LFS wont have any new shipments until after the new year, i am sure SWF.com has similar issues. On the same note, not avisable to order from other online vendors either, your fish just may end up sitting on...
