Anyone ever think of getting a Rhizotrochus?

My supplier here can bring them in, the yellows, pinks and oranges, but they're a little out of my price range at the moment, starting at $1,200

    Sponge?

Weird! I don't know, I can't think of what else it would be. Can you try vinegar soaking and TOTALLY cleansing the whole PH or have you done that and it still comes back? Are your other PHs affected?

    what are these?

The first pic could be an emerald crab, they are lumpy and fuzzy, take a boo at it's claws, if the ends are cupped rather than totally pointed you're probably good hope that helps a little :)

    Can I do this?

It's ok if you leave it in the QT and don't have to medicate, but if the new foxface is sick and you put the rock back into the DT from the QT you could bring germs with it

    The new tank is up!!

Ha.... well...if it was up to me? There are a couple of things I'd like, fish who don't "play well with others" but I think the plan is to just shut them down, our house can't handle the humidity of all those tanks (there is a nano as well as a 55g FW in house too) or we might convert the 65g...

    The new tank is up!!

Well, it's been a long process but here are all the fish and corals and most of the inverts finally together in the new 120g. The fish came from our 65g and 27g, it's so cool watching them explore their new digs! The little foxface is trying to buddy up with the SF tang, and the SF is showing...

    soft-shelled turtle

They are super cute as juvies but grow VERY large, some reaching 2 or more feet (depending on the species) and they are very prone to fungal infections of the shell if their water isn't pristine. I wouldn't put one in less that a 120 or bigger but if you're willing to do the maintenance on them...

What did you get for Christmas?

I got a Bellus angel! She's paid for but I can't go pick her up until the snow stops!! The roads here are terrible.

    That was really cool...

Yeah... I think it's cool too lol - I'm still enthralled when one of my spaghetti worms gets a hold of something good! (but I never claimed to be normal)

    Maybe and ID please =)

Looks more like a bleached paly than an anemone to me. Probably lost it's colour in the curing bins at the LFS If you poke it does it roll up into a nub or retreat into a crack?
