I filled the pond with tap water today and so far so good.

I need to install bulkheads then I'll fill it with tap water to see if it's alright(I'm scared )

No the eel is staying put. He's been around since I set up the tank 4 years ago and is very happy.

Here's my 320 gallon. It has a bamboo, epaullette, two cali rays and a banana moray eel.

I think I was over thinking the net idea. Yours is very simple, and in my book simple is good. You are making me nervious about the bowing. At this point I can only hope for the best. I still wouldn't mind hearing more suggestions on keeping the sharks in the pond. Thanks Sharkguy

They haven't been to cooperative on ordering sand here. I'm not sure why. I've already have about 300 pounds of sand and I'll seed it with some from other tanks as well. I may look into ordering again, maybe I just got someone who didn't want to deal with it.

I'm not sure of the filling time frame. I've got a lot of detail stuff to do with the filtration setup. The substrate will be a fine sand. Here's another picture of the progress today.
