    I was thinking of attempting to build my own acrylic tank, but some of the people I have talked to have said not to because it is very hard to get a good glue joint and it would be dangerous if I did it myself. Should I attempt it or not? any comments?

    Thanks Bang Guy. I have read your thread on your 900 gallon lagoon. Simply amazing. What about a hippo tang or a clown tang with the yellow? Would they stress each other out? As a general rule how many gallons per inch of fish per tank?

    I would like to make my own live rock using base rock. Can I still get the purple colors by doing this. If so the purple colors on fiji lr must be algae right?
