Looking to set up a wall tank in this spot, thoughts?

First, Is this a load bearing wall? The width of your wall has me concerned. Second, You must see if you have enough wall width for your tank. I'm no expert here, but I'm planing the same thing and I know there are different sized tanks on the market but in my area to get a 100 gallon tank it...

20 long on a fireplace mantle?

IMO I think the discussion is not about the fish, but about the mantle. I agree with Veni Vidi Vici. Mantles are for decoration only, they can't hold the weight. Just water alone you are talking about 160 pounds! Do you think you could stand on your mantle without it crashing to the ground? I...

95 Harley If your interested I asked the same question many months ago and here are a few of the responses: https://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=328271 I finally ended up with a piece of plexi-glass cut to fit, painted black, taped to the back. You could paint one side blue if you...

    New ro/di unit arrived

Hey meowzer, wake up, got a question. Did your RO/DI unit come with an ASO? (automatic shut off) This is an important device installed at the unit. It's function is to sense back pressure (from the float valve closing) and shut off the water flow. I'm not sure if all RO/DI units come with this...

    New ro/di unit arrived

I was just reading your tiny thread about your sump/refugium , good pics, and your float should go in the same compartment as your return pump, the same as mine. Adjust the float while the pump is running. You wont believe how you ever got by before. Ok, bed time(EST in Dayton,Oh) now for all...

There isn't a tremendous amount of pressure, but I'm not trying to put out a fire, just replace evaporated water.

    New ro/di unit arrived

The pump in the picture (Supreme Classic Model 5, 500GPH) is the return pump for my Display tank, not for the RO/DI unit. I am using the water pressure from the RO/DI unit to feed the float valve top off. I don't have a problem with water pressure. The RO/DI unit is in my basement and it feeds...

    New ro/di unit arrived

I hope you can make this out, it is on return side of the refugium. I guess if you wanted to drill a hole through the refugium wall you could eliminate the bracket, I just didn't want to drill my refugium wall.
