Well I should have about 15K in cash to start up. That is without taking any kind of a loan. That doesn't really help me as far as what I could buy because I don't know what kind of discount I would get for being a dealer.

Yeah that is a variable that I'll have to take into account. I haven't looked around yet but my plan is to find a med to small space in a good location to "set up shop". If you want to be able to keep anything use 2 400w MH's and 2 110w VHO actinics. This set up will give you 9.2 wpg

Your lights are not going to melt the plastic brace. If you don't believe me go find a junk tank and try to melt the plastic brace with your lights. Unless your lights are directly on the plastic it won't melt.
