What is your current skimmer. I have 2 cpr's and I would say they are average. Nothing to brag about.

Following that link, they refer to snaking airline through it with a wooden air stone on the end. Does anyone understand what the opposite end of the airline is hooked to?

I have looked at the ASM G-2 on different sites and they all claim it to be a different height. Each one says: 1. 21 1/4 2. 22 1/4 3. 25 Which is right? Height is an issue for me.

I am designing my sump/refuge and need to know a height for water depth of a in sump protein skimmer. Any recommendations? DT is 125g and looking to spend around $300.00. Sump is in the cabinet of the DT so I need a protein skimmer that isn't super tall.

I just received my eshopps overflow single tube model and of course there are no directions. My question is does anything hold the u-tube in place?

I use them on salt and fresh. Sometimes impellar doesn't like to restart on salt tank after a power outage. They can be nitrate traps.
