What everyone is telling you is to avoid restricting flow that goes from your overflow to your wet/dry. If you are going to use a valve, place it between the return pump and display tank, on the return side of things. If you place a valve on the overflow side you risk overflowing your display tank.

Leathers and GSP should do fine. Those are the first two that come to mind. Are you looking for SPS, LPS, soft corals, polyps?

Don't dose anything that you can't test for....Also, shrooms don't like high amounts of lighting or flow. Try reducing these two things and wee what happens.

I have never had a problem with leathers fighting when in close proximity. I have had a Colt near a Toadstool w/o incident, and now I have a Toadstool near a Devil's Hand w/o any issues.

I will occassionally spot feed my Brittlestar pieces of krill. Anything meaty will work, really. I just put it near him and he takes it from my tongs.

You might try soaking the Nori in a garlic/tank water mix then putting it in to the tank. Garlic extract entices fish.

Should be a purple/lavender color. What color is it under your lighting? what kind of lighting are you using?
