yup! 10k bulbs produces more heat then 20k. i swap between the two kind of bulbs all the time. cant decide which to stick with :D , even got a nasty burn on my finger for accidentally touching it.

no, rd will not run on linux. i'm an admin for microsoft stuff, so really dont know much about linux. if you run vnc on your linux laptop, why cant you connect to your machine in your room? again, i use vnc... but on windows. have never used it on a linux machine. sorry i couldnt help much...

aaron, i'm alittle confuse on what your trying to do. if access to another computer is what your after, it can simply be done with microsoft remote desktop. imo, its faster then vnc.
