i was just looking at the tank and noticed hundreds of tiny black "bugs" swarming around the sand bed. could they be shrimp babies? i hope it's nothing bad????

thanks everyone:) when i first put the powder blue in the tank and saw the sailfin beating on him i was beginning to think it wasn't going to work, but they were quick to resolve their differences:happy:

we added a powderblue tang to the tank today, wanted to do it before our sailfin had become too established. the sailfin played bully for about an hour now they are acting like best friends:D we even saw most of our fish schooling together for a bit. in the pic you can see the sailfin...

i don't know if it's much of a secret:) on my camera i set the ISO as high as it would go, put the camera in macro mode and focused on an area around the fish, then i pretty much just chased the fish with the camera while still focused lol. here are a couple more shots of my harder to catch fish

i finally figured out a way to take some good closeup shots of some of my fast moving fish, here are a few i just got of my sailfin tang
