What's the next best thing to the fluorescents?

The flow hasn't been changed. As far as the lighting goes, its the fluorescent lighting that comes with tank.

Do all puffers do that or just depends on there personality? Mine has been biting the heck out of my sandsifter starfish and he's only about 4 inches long.

Left home yesterday, checked on my 14g, everything is great. Get home about 9 hrs later and my torch is on the other side of my tank and my anemone is about 10 inches from where it was in the morning. Do they have a way of moving? If so, why do they move? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Had one, lasted all of 3 days. Guy at the lfs failed to mention tank had to be at least a year old. Could of done a little research on my end though.

Yeah, I doubt it too, starfish stayed attached to the glass and anemone is about 10 inches away.

Why does it look all chewed up? That's what has me confused.

Its exactly like the red starfish they sell on this site. I have a picture of how i found him (graphic), before and after.

So i leave for work yesterday and do my routine checkups on both my tanks before i leave, everythings great. I get home about 8 hours later and my red starfish is barely clinging on to the glass, looks like something ate right thru him. He was ripped almost in half. I'm at a loss because there...

The hermits, snails, and star are doing ok with fish. Would coral have any problem with them (cuc)? Tank is an established 100g.

I want to add some color (plants or coral) to my FOWLR 100g tank. Currently it has a v. lion, porc. puffer, goldentail eel, and a soon to be leaving panther grouper. Prefer something that's not to hard to take care of. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

The guy had it in established 75g tank. Would the cycling process take care of this problem?
