I would believe it that the 'wind' took the power out - it was really nasty last week. The news said there was ~200,000 homes without power for over 5 days. I guess i was just lucky

I thing metal halides only cover a 2' x 2' area - you may have some lighting gaps at the edges of your tank. You may want to look into T-5's or possibly 2x150w MH's.

Well i found that it is a member of the "Zoanthus gigantus" which is the people eaters. I am just not sure which it could be... Now i am thinking it may be a morph of the Green Stardust PE... They just haven't gotten the speckles - although one has a couple... I just got em, so i will let them...

Tangs are able to survive long term in a 48"... Mine is a lot deeper than say a 55 or 90 gallon as well, which offers a little more swimming room.
