even with a magnifying glass, aefw will be hard to spot. did u dip and check what came out of the dip? i wouldnt use coral amino unless your acros were losing colors. its potent stuff. are your sps colored, browned, tan, or faded? when you say turning white in some areas, are they small bite...

if you want a nice light, then its definately not the coralife. thats style and performance. out of the 3 options said, the tek IMO is the sleekest one around.

ive left mine out for 15+ minutes. in the wild theyre out for hours so dont worry about it too much.

i would go ahead and dip it. the bugs we're talking about are really small. do a dip and rinse it off with some clean saltwater then throw it back in the tank and leave it alone for a couple of days

i think the star and clam both dying is pure coincidence in this case. i just lost my clam to but lost it pyramid snails. look if you can find them around still. while its a long shot, your clam may have not been getting enough light in the long run. i was running some par tests with 250w 72"...

i would get a wavepoint fixture over coralife. if you want even better, get a TEK fixture. they have optional legs too.

coral rx is a great product too

it is not iodine based which is why i use it. iodine dips are harsh on SPS but will be fine for zoas. theres also coral rx and lugols

yehp. ill never put in a coral without dipping and expecting for pests

the dry rock is natural. it will turn dark over time like normal live rock. these rocks are calcium based and are excavated from an ancient reef site, why isnt it natural? these rocks are by far better than live rock from fiji or tonga imo. i use it and they have a better shape and better porosity

if it truly is AEFW, you're in for a long battle. you would have to dip every week for 3+ months to destroy their life cycle and leave them in QT to prevent them from getting back into your tank. inspect for eggs as well

did you dip this before putting it in your tank?

any brownish stuff over them? or white spots?. check for pests and diseases.

nah, shedding is fine. when you say milli, i highly suspect aefw since they love millis. i think you have too little flow too. when they say high, they mean high. as long as its not directly at the coral, its fine. but indirect whipping is good.

Look up AEFW. since your montis are fine, i would suspect a pest like aefw
