If you have corals i would pule that one out, put him in the refugium! It will eat green and brown alge, but it sounds to me like it can and probably will eat corals too!

If your tank is established (6 months+) , if you have the proper water levels, if you have the proper lighting! It would be easier to answer if these facts where posted , oh yea and a pic would be helpfull!

What if you took a bucket lined it with the tubing so that it had 1/4 inch between tubing and sides of the bucket, then you fill the bucket with water put it in the fridge,this will give you more surface for cooling the water! You will still need a way to control the flow reefkeepr can monitor...
