I did acclimate them. I attached 3 pics. I have NO IDEA what these corals names are. Does anyone know? Also, if you can tell me why the middle one is discoloring (the $150 one)... The other two are fine. The bottom one is like small little hard purple branches. :notsure:

The halide bulbs are about 4mnths old. the T5s are maybe 7-8mnths old. But my halides have enought blue in it so I didnt change the T5s. I dont know what kinda corals they are. I will take some pics. I do know that one of them I have the LFS said is worth $150

I have a mixed reef tank. Anemones, Softies, Clam, 2 Hard corals,etc. I have 2 x 250W phoenix 14k MH DE bulbs and 2 x 54W Blue T5s I noticed 2-3 corals of mines when I got it from the LFS, and put it in my tank, lost some color after several weeks. Is my combination of bulbs correct? Do I need...

whats the easiest way to increase KH? i think im on the borderline of 8kh.. Also, does KALK raise the calcium level, or does it MAINTAIN it?

Calcium: 400-420 KH: 150-161ppm PH in the MORNING: 7.8 Does this look about right to you? Also, is your PH in the morning 7.8 or higher??? How much does your PH drop at nights??? :notsure:

i dont think it was dyed.. because aside from color, the anemone seemed to be thicker and tentacles were closer to each other.. now it is very far apart.. like bald, when it opens up. but still alive for many months.. i know it is not the same as when i got it. somethings not rite. :notsure:

are you kiddin me? they colored the coral to sell it? i doubt it. it just lost its color, but i suppose no one knows why...

its under 500 total watts of MH.. 75Gallon tank... i have many other corals, which are all healthy.. and this anemone is alive too, just that dang color.. parameters: Nitrate:0 Ammonia: 0 PH: 8.0-8.2 nitrite: 0 salinity: 1.024 calcium: 400

i bought a green bubble tip anemone 7+ months ago.. when I purchased it, it was neon beautiful bright green.. after just a few weeks, the anemone has been brownish and looks real bad.. it has been alive for 7 months or more, and opens up and everything, BUT whats with the color??? what...

well i can prolly take it to the LFS. but u know there, i will get like $10 credit.. I know EASILY this would sell around $80. I bought it from the LFS at 2inch for $27. sux but thanx

well it is OVERNIGHTED.. it wont be a problem.. this is a very healthy coral. They are very hardy as well.. not to mention, its a big coral, so it will be fine.

I have a nice size (6-9 inches big and tall too) pulsing xenia (large thick ones on a small rock) for sale or trade with another coral. I would like to trade it for a coral thats already a nice size and is bright color and hardy.... I attached a picture, but it doesnt do it justice... :mad...

Yes how is it risky and how much do you put? if not directly into the tank, maybe part of the top off water.. but how much do you add?
