I wouldnt be yet. All of the echidna eels do funny things with feeding, especially under the stress of a new environment. Sometimes they go for months at a time. For now, check and recheck the levels, salinity, pH, etc. and keep offering food everyday at the usual time. He will come around.

Well, they both took some DEAD ghost shrimp this afternoon so I guess we're on the right track. I put some very small pieces of scallop on thier rock before I went to the store and now every piece is gone.

They have a short lifespan of about 1 to 1 1/2 years for the species available. Just like cuttlefish.

Depends on the species. My dragon eats till he pukes if I let him- a snowflake would be much more reserved. I say feed him until he stops showing interest. Remember, snowflakes, zebras, chainlinks, etc are all crustacean feeders. Just about anything that goes in there will be lunch sooner or...
