    Octopus / Seafans / Gorgonians

May be a question for the more experienced hobbyist.....what are the thoughts of placing a single octopus in an aquarium with Seafans, Gorgonians and of course lots of live rock?

    micro brittle starfish

I don't think they will harm your coral, but that many may be a problem. You can try to gently shake the coral to get them to fall off. "Gently". Most of them will die. If you have any other larger creatures in your tank they will become food and some will get sucked up through your...

    Sold to many?

From my experience you definately have to be careful with the Zebra Turbo Snails because they will eat your coraline agae and quick. Some of the snails have been dying off so my algae is starting to slowly come back. Im refering to the coraline algae that grows on the back glass. However I'm...

    Removing over growing star polyps

I am finding that out. I have pulled some of it back but it is tough. I just don't want it to cover my rock because it has already taken over a small zoa colony.

    Cf 50/50

Wow! Those are really nice. Nice rock work as well! You have some good coral algae growing. I had some growing pretty good at one point in time at about six or seven months, but then I went and purchased about seven large zebra turbo snails and they ate it all before it started growing really...

Anyone use the CF 50/50 bulbs. I purchased one for a 29 gallon that I have been using for my QT / Frag overflow. It seems to be pretty good considering it is only one bulb. Has a really good blend of natural and actinic. Any thoughts?
