anthias are a much prettyer fish so i would pick them but anthias are kinda hard to keep but if you buy them from this site you will have a much better chance of keeping them alive

you dont want to have sharks in a deep tank.

a UV is more of a personal choice. it mostly depends on the fish you have, if you have a fish that is very prone to get ich like a powder blue than a UV is a good idea but if you have a fish that doesn't get it than its pretty much a waist of money. What kinds of fish do you have/want to get?

how are the rays doing? im thinking about a trip to the keys next summer for some lemons if you guys want to come. its a long time from now but i just wanted to give you an heads up.

It is unlawful to possess sharks taken for commercial purposes. maybe there are differant regulations for non commercial purposes where would i be able to catch a lemon shark?

from what i have read there are no limits on any of those in NC as long as you surf fish.

the sharks i catch dont stay in the holding tank untill its time to go home, i keep them in a blowup baby pool that is like 12x6 so they can swim and get used to being confined to a tank i personaly think my holding tank is to small and im planning on haveing a bigger one soon i will post a pic...

300gallons and about 4foot wide. i have bottled oxygen going into the tank.
