its happend to me before and the exact same thing happend fish died off one by one. make sure to watch your ammonia levels now because you probbly killed off alot of nitrification bacteria.

give us your tank size and equipment, also how much experence you have. i wont help you kill a shark or ray because of stupidity on your part so we need to know these things. you can get a blue spot ray but it wont live long, even very experenced people like me and psusocr1 cant keep them alive...

i have a 10 gal tank i use for coral frags. i have a 96W PC and they do great. that puts me with 9W per gallon and thats plenty enough for clams and anemonie' s but the problem is with keeping such a small tank stable enough for them. I would't advise it.

i know how to do it, i just dont want to kill one of the maited pair due to ich.

there is really no way to tell, there are so many things that could have caused the crack. truthfully I would just buy a new acrylic sump and this shouldn't happen again. I can give you a good website that makes large acrilic sumps for a good price, thats whare i got mine. there needs to be more...
