Also, not sure if you did this, but you should make your salt water prior to putting it in the tank too. If you do it in a bucket or new trash can a couple days prior to filling the tank and throw some airstones and / or powerheads in there, that will mix it better.

I mixed it in a 5 gallon container connected to a float valve in the sump. Another easy way is to buy a plastic I.V. bottle and drip with that.

I would stay away from aneomones and corals with tap water. Even if it is good one day, it may not be good the next. And I mean even after you condition it to remove chlorine, etc..
