    im not sure exactly what species it is.They are SUPPOSIDLY reef safe but if there is nothing to control their population and they arent fed enough,they start looking for alternative food sources.That is where my zoos came into the picture.

    yes a goby will.I have had those things destroy hundreds of my zoos.Many people claim them to be reef safe but i have witnessed first hand them eating zoanthids

    very true.If you have lots of little critters in the tank popping them they can spread at an astounding rate.I know from experience lol

    this is red bubble algae.It will spread like a wildfire if you pop it.Try to syphon out the bubbles when you do a water change.Or ive heard you can use super glue gel and cover each bubble.Then simply pluck em off.Syphoning them has worked best for me thou.Good luck

    well its not a great thing but they are probably just really stressed out and recovering.As long as you dont see decay or oozing from the polyps they should open up eventually and be ok

    i would say give it some time.It looks and sounds like they went through hell.Like i said before thou if they start to get covered in algae brush it off.Also keep doing water changes.They dont look to terrible so i think they should come thru for you

    you might try running some carbon or doing some water changes.Its a shot in the dark but it might help.Also if they are starting to grow algae,Take a fine toothbrush and try scrubbing it off.The algae will only promote infection and hinder their revovery

    i recently got some purple deaths from my lfs that are red.Is there anything i can do to turn them back to purple besides feeding and low light?or should i jsut call them red deaths?lol thx

    salinity sounds ok.And bristle worms are beneficial to your system.The only time they eat coral is when it is already dying.And the chance of you having a predatory bristle worm in your system is VERY slim although it can happen.
