    also are you sure there are no predators?Some types of isopods can eat zoanthids.I have lost a couple HUGE colonys to them.Try checking late at night with a flashlight,you might find something unexpected.

    i would buy at least a couple test kits.Some tend to be more accurate then others.Even if they are slightly off this can sometimes cause a problem with corals

    i can almost assure you they are babies.And if you have alot of live rock you might not even notice them for years.Sometimes they show themselves and soemtimes they dont.Do they have a main disk with arms coming off of it?

    no they are not reef safe.They sting corals or anything that touches them.I would recommend getting a syringe.You fill it full of liquid calcium and inject the aiptasia,You have to make sure to directly inject it and pump it full of calcium.If you dont there is a chance it can reproduce.hope...

    i was talking about the asterina he captured in the picture lol and the chance of finding an asterina that consumes coral is fairly rare.It is like finding a bristle worm that is a coral eater aka fireworm.

    i personally belive that they do not eat corals unless they are diseased and decaying.They are like any other part of your cleanup crew.They dont go after live coral unless it is dying anyways
