Do the mushrooms have anything under their foots?like sand or tiny pebbles?if so you can glue those to a bigger rock that should help

by feeding them i get mine to spawn 1-2 sometimes 3 heads a week.The choice is yours.And all corals you can buy are photosynthetic except sun corals and a select few others

Thanks for your comments guys.I wish i had a better digital camera the pics dont even do them justice.On the rock with the dragon eye zoos you cant even tell the other zoos on the rock are red eagle eyes.They have purple skirts but you cant even tell

I have experienced the spiders and snails that eat zoas.It is not very fun expecially picking them out daily with tweezers

An inch is perfect to frag a mushroom.The best way to do it is to cut the mushroom off the rock with a little hunk of rock attached if you can.Next cut the mushrooom completely in half so both halves still have a portion of the corals mouth.In about a week or 2 they should both heal and be doing...

water quality is most likely your issue.YOu said you have 45 hermits how large is your tank?most people say 1 hermit to every 5 gallons of water.Imo water quality or overstocking is your problem.

That is literally a steal.Anytime you can find a peice of coral for 5-10 dollars that is an increadible deal LUCKY!

definatly collinista.A very beneficial part of your tank.Sundial snails are more round like a dime and they have spikes comin out of the end of their shells.They use the spikes to punture the zooanthid ahd basically suck out its insides.I used to have some of those but they are easy to identify...

One way is take a plastic hose and when your syphoning water out and doing a water change,scrape the bubbles off with the edge of the hose.works 4 me.Hope this helps eric
