    sps and clams..how hard?

both sps and clams are very easy to keep assuming you have the right equiptment and time to do so. what type of skimmer is it? saying what it is rated for does absolutly nothing because most of them are BS anyways and you are going to up your flow by a lot. at least a 25X turnoever rate in my...

does anybody have SPS or anemones under t5 or VHOs

yes you can. the 660 ballast will overdrive them which will produce more PAR on more watts. you also have to change the bulbs more often.

    hey viper,look what i have!!

wow!!! 1-8or9 in about 5 months?!! that is fantastic growth. then again, with so many feedings, i would expect it i have been feeding mine krill. but it seems that their mouths are really small so it takes a long time to ingest it. which gives my clean up crew more time to steal it...

    hey viper,look what i have!!

hahaha i do hear that they grow pretty fast though if fed often. ive tried feeding mine like 3 times already but my clean up crew is too fast but i found a clean plastic cup and a small piece of live rock to put on top to fix that

Why there is a layer of dust (like oil) on top?

a surface skimmer will do absolutly nothing as it already is in the tank though because the water doea not fall anywhere because as stated, the water level of the filter chambers is the same as the main tank. if you shoot it at the surface, then you will be able to get it into your main water...

    Clam experts opinions please!

you cant really tell if clams are healthy or not too easily. obvious there are signs such as opening, PM, or gaping, but you usualy cant tell until just before they are gone. however, since your is closed up there due to your gramma, you should be able to see a white area of growing or freshly...
