I need a good algae eater for my 55 g. First i need to get rid of a small bit of hair algae..It's not a huge problem anymore but there is a bit left over. I just want a long term maintanence fish for algae. Also it is a 55g display for the time being total water volume though is roughly 125g...

Thanks Peef. The polyp extension is Great as far as I can tell. It looks just like it did in the store under way better lighting and I can not see any bleaching either. Also I have to find my camera first befor I can take a pic, I just recently moved about a month ago and It's in a box...

I bought my very first SPS this weekend for about $70.00 mounted. It came with a hitchiker crab which I can't identify yet and also has this brownish stuff comming off of the mounting plug(which is about 6 inches across)that looks like a half circle kind of like a fungus on the side of a tree...

I just purchased a maroon pair and they both love the carpet anemone..So I'd say YES to your answer. The male clown is so small compared to the female he just burries himself in the carpet and sometimes you can't see anything but a fin sticking out its kind of funny to watch. I'm scared...

I want to buy a wide range of marine plants. shaving brush green/red halimeda, green/red algae, gracillaria, masidens hair, caulerpa, sea lettuce and gorgonians and sea fans. If anyone has any other plants that are beneficial to the reef tank in a refugium I am interested. Thanks
