I agree, I think it's in my system. Humans all carry staph in our systems and we are normally able to fight it off, but under duress it can break out, I believe that is the same thing with our tanks. I'm going to pick up a couple of neon gobies today and probably look into a UV sterlizer.

My chevron tang that I got a couple of weeks ago now has ich.....he was quarantined before I got him (I trust this LFS tremendously), but he now has it in my 200 gallon tank which has 300 lbs of LR in it, so the hopes of catching him are slim, I'm gonna try tomorrow. But, is it possible that...

Oh good!!! Something I don't have to keep buying all the time!! Cuz it looks like baby snails on the glass now that I see the picture.

as a side note, the only fish that I have more than one of are my Anthias, one male, 3 females.

The store is called "Sea Schor" on Dundee Ave. in Buffalo Grove, just east of Buffalo Grove Road. The did have more chevrons.

I think that's just something on the glass not the fish, and yes, this store had 3 others for sale.

Opihura, yeah I decided to take a pass on it...but very interesting fish...

This one is only about 2 to 2 1/2 inches right now.....he looks like a cross between Bangaii Cardinal and an Anthias....way cool, I'm soooooo tempted!

Has anyone had experience with these fish?? I small LFS near me has one and I am intrigued with it.....but I was told that it could eat some of my cleanup crew and shrimp, so I'm looking for some advice.

Yeah, I thought so too.....I see them online for $100-150 and then you have to pay the shipping....

One of the smaller LFS near me was having a 15% off livestock sale today and I picked up a beautiful Chevron Tang for $40.00!! They also had a Lyretail Hogfish....anyone ever heard of these fish...he was pretty cool.

No, nothing near it, it actually sits in a "canyon" area of my tank so nothing around.
