Yes, especially the Formula 2. You can place them in some tank water in a cup (that is fish only) to thaw or what I do is actually place the frozen cube in the tank and rub it between my fingers so as it thaws I shred it for all the little fishies! H2H

Even if it is Mardel's Copper Safe? A few people have told me that if you do enough water changes, it actually leaves the tank...unlike something like Copper Power?!?!

A friend of mine has a FOWLR tank and is selling it. Since there are no inverts, he has used COPPER SAFE for ich. Question is, he is selling...can I buy the Live Rock and put it in my reef? Or will the Copper Safe tag along... Thanx

And also let me ask this...if you DO keep them together, have you ever lost an SPS coral or colony? What do you do as far as placement and flow to 'make it possible'? I might not play around with it and get rid of the leathers...from what I've researched, you will NEVER find SPS anywhere near...

Yes, definitely dunk it in boiling water...you don't know what sort of pesticides may be lurking on the lettuce...and you don't want that crap in your tank!

As far as the other part of your question, (in MY experience) no, Naso's aren't as bad as Hippo's. I think the Hippo is the worst.

No offense, but it is definitely NOT a naso...not even close. It's related to Tangs like the Kole Tang and Chevron Tang. It is in the family Ctenochaetus which are the Bristletooths (Dogstar hit the nail on the head) not the Naso which is much bigger (family Unicornfish).
