The tank is 72 inches long, 24 inches deep and 28 inches high. I never said I WAS going to have all of them, I said that those were the ones I was interested in and asked which ones would you delete from the list. "I can add the tangs in any way that I need to...just give me some advice...

You can't keep 2...it's either 1 or 3 or more.

I just got my 215 gallon oceanic reef tank home yesterday. In case some of you don't know, 3/4 inch glass is HEAVY. LOL It took us 4 guys to get it into the truck and then into the house...soooo worth it though. Anyways, I'm bringing over my 125 gallon reef and want to know from any TANG...

almost forgot, id also REALLY love to have an achilles...but i just know he will be clean up crew food in no time. i havent heard of anyone keeping one for that long...even my lfs had one in a display tank and couldnt keep it alive. are they THAT hard to keep?

Speaking of tangs...I have 3 right now in my 125 gallon reef...a blonde naso, blue hippo and a yellow. I am upgrading to a 215 oceanic reef tank in less than two weeks and was wondering how many tangs everyone thinks I can keep in THAT tank. I was thinking of 5 or 6...the ones I already have...

I have a yellow watchman that I added AFTER my pistol shrimp...and they have not paired up that I know of. I have NEVER seen the pistol shrimp since I added him...but I know he's alive cus I can see his fresh burrowing activity if I go into the tank stand and look at the BOTTOM of my sandbed...

PLEASE...ANYONE have any input? I leave work in 50 mins to go home and start this up. From what I've gathered today, the first thing I should do is put my purple tang in freshwater for an hour? Then put him in a QT with the same PH, Temp and salinity as my main tank...then lower the salinity...

If I put him in a QT and use copper, do I have to do hypo? And again, has his disease spread to all all of my other fish? Do I have to treat them ALL? Are inverts, corals and things safe from ich?

I have to put ALL of my fish from the 90 gallon reef in a 10 gallon QT for 6 weeks???

What options do I have BESIDES hypo? Is hypo the best bet? If I get a cleaner shrimp, will he actually clean the ick off of my tang and prevent them from getting it in the future combined with my UV sterilizer?

I have a purple tang with the SAME issue, so I'd like to see the responses to this thread... :confused:
