i just moved the tank a month ago. when i moved it, i did the 3 day routine with the sump for the first time. all cyano was gone, but now it is back with a vengeance.

nothing, they just wont eat them. they prefer to graze live stuff out of the rock's nook and crannies all day. i have never kept or seen one that ever ate any prepared foods or anything other than live pods. a few people say they have one or have seen one. i dont know how you can "train" them...

the skimmer's 3100 is in the section just before the fuge. the skimmers outlet is then piped into the fuge and acting like a powerhead. i once had an extra little rio 400 or similar in there as well, but it quickly got strangled by the growing cheato.

i hope you have full recovery too. when you add fresh LR, the calcerous, porous rock acts like a phosphate sponge. especially when you are adding a massive amount like 200#. once the water was pretty much PO4 free, the media probably started deteriorate. just a guess at that part.
