    the thermos blind trade

well i shipped it out this morning. just so you know because you are up north in PA, unless its summer time, you are likely going to need solid wall foam packing and heat packs. peanuts allow alot of heat transfer, so they probably froze / chilled to death before they left PA.

How does a Plate Coral move?

i found multiple pet stores / sites recommending the OLD practice of putting them in the sand bed. that is the reason they used to be considered tough to keep long term IMO. most pictures of these corals in the wild like these random ones i found are going to have the coral on rocky substrate...

    red flatworm question

hey bang, i did as much research on this as i possibly could before dosing my reef. i was not able to find any cases of coral death from this. some LPS and leathers may become slightly distressed for the 2 hours or so that it is most concentrated in the tank, but they quickly bounce back. i...

How does a Plate Coral move?

An Excerpt from John Hiller's Article in Reefkeeping Online Magazine: On the reef, plate corals usually do not have the "puffed-up" appearance that they commonly have in reef aquaria. I've also noticed while diving that plate corals seem to be found quite often with their mouth side down, with...
