    Cigar Time

a very creamy and light cigar would be dunhills and Davidoffs. though neither are particularly cheap, you can find smaller cigar sizes that arent too bad. also look into tatuajes they are pretty mild and not too pricey.

    Curing Live Rock: Different Options

Thinking of adding some fish, need YOUR help

sorry joe but i have to disagree. the sweetlips are aggressive and have a TERRIBLE track record. they seem to always die within a year for no reason. they also lose the nice coloration as they mature.

    Curing Live Rock: Different Options

you will need a bunch of buckets and a steel brush or a tooth brush to scrub off all of the dead and decaying tissue and dunk repeatedly. you should not be performing 100% changes ever, especially in a tank you are trying to cycle. the water may get very polluted , but it should settle out...

Thinking of adding some fish, need YOUR help

tang is already in the tank. is this for a reef tank? you say a few shrooms but are you wanting to add more? i would advise against a grouper as they might be docile, but for an aggressive tank... he will be very bossy i believe in such a small tank. and they get rather large. i also would not...

    Thinking about a new fish...

i dont really know enough about them to give you advice on that, except to be careful if you try it because they are poisonous. also, if you have ornamental inverts like shrimp they will be eaten.

    Thinking about a new fish...

a basslett like a royal gramma could work too, but they are not so much of a free swimmer

    Thinking about a new fish...

look into a fairy or flasher wrasse for a good swimming fish. some flashers are a bit shy tho.

    Thinking about a new fish...

sounds like your tank is stocked pretty full as it is IMO. what are your trates at? what kind of skimmer?

Does T5 lighting look better than MH with T5 or VHO supplement?

aesthetically, you wont get the shimmer effect with T-5s that halides get. however because you can mix bulbs to a greater degree, you have more options to get the right color you are looking for. on the same token, you can include more red spectrum Kelvin bulbs that are supposed to help with...
