with a CLS you dont get head loss because it is countered by the gravity of the water pulling into the pump. you only lose a little bit of GPH with pipe friction. i expect to get to get not much less than the 3000 GPH out of a 3600 GPH pump.

OM can be built into it down the line, i just dont have the extra 500 or so to blow on it. im using a DART which is 3600 GPH. the manifold will also keep pressure high. i may remove one of the outlets on each side and have a total of 6 outlets that are reduced to 3/4" 45 degree elbows.

the above mentioned camera is 5-700, you arent going to get a SLR for under a grand last i checked.

for under 600 you arent going to get a SLR, unless its used on [hr] . your best bet is likely something from the semi-pro line like Canon's S2is / S3is camera. a lot of functionality and custom options 12x optical 48x digital zoom, etc etc. its there line of cameras just under the SLRs and...

i am in the middle of building a CLS on my 150 with a Reeflo Sequence DART pushing it. that pump puts out 3600 GPH i believe off the top of my head. you can see plans on my upgrade thread in the DiY section.

you can use that QT tank if you can catch her, but have extra water on hand to continue to do water changes (at the proper salinity) to keep the water either from cycling or prolonging the cycle with greatly lowered spikes.

ok dropped in two of the tablets for the first dose last night. says 1 tablet / 20 gals. 2x dosage for first day. i have a 29g and i dont want to break the tabs so i did 2 tabs for day 1 and then i am gonna do 1 tab for the next 4 days. crossing fingers...

yea i would try that if they are not opening up under that intense lighting. medium indirect flow is fine, but you may want to experiment with lessening that and see if you get better results.
