    I believe his information is based on the TEK t-5 fixtures. He also had a nova retro that was pretty bright. I dont know the actual PAR ratings myself but I did see the TEK's in person and they're pretty bright.

    Yeah when i used oceanic i maintained a calcium level of like 550 all the time. Whast yours measure at?

    Sand.

    Gobies are hte best alternatives for ridding diatoms and keeping the sandbed clean. Pink spotted's are awesome, as are gold headed sleepers. Diamonds are alright too, but are big time swimmers and in my experience are much more of jumpers than the rest.

    You would be better off with at least 60 lbs. One more bag. You could do a couple yellows in the 75, at least for awhile. the PJ cardinals are sweet too. I would say dragonets are hard to keep at all, except that you have to have a mature tank with lots of pods and microfauna. Thats pretty...

    You could go witht he tek 24" fixture, 4x24 watts, thats what i was going to get for my 37 gal cube, but i went with a mh pendant instead.

    reread my post, and check the TEK fixtures, you'll be able to find soemthing. And each bulb has its own individual reflector.
