IMO, i woudl always recomend t-5 over vho. T-5 are low wattage, but more light(higher PAR), theyre low profile so you can cram a bunch of bulbs in there, they are cheap to buy and cheap to run. VHO are just a ton of wattage crammed into a cheap florescent bulb, which makes them have an...

Thats not even anything compares to metal halide, which is required by clams and anemones, as well as SPS. You may be able to keep those with t-5 in that tank too.

What kind of food? If its something frozen you should be fine buy fw pellet and flake is a no-no.

I feed my BTA's and LTA's frozen mysis, they seem to like that pretty well. Silversides aren't the best alternative becasue they are hard on the specamins digestive system.

Well it isnt that deep, so you can get by with t-5's. They're great lights, cheap to run, run cool, and not very expenisve. You can get a top of the line fixture for that tank for 300$ tops.
