    my favorite that i have is my Red Velvet fairy wrasse C. rubrisquamis i just love the colors on this fish the fish i really want is a Blue-Tail Wrasse (Anampses femininus) but the are very hard to find!!

    the larger the tank it is always better for the fish but that yellowfin should be fine in the 55 as well..but for the other fish i would go to at least a 75

    in a tank that size even the smaller fairys like the yellowfin can be somewhat aggressive but i am glad to hear things seem to be doing better

    i had to remove a small yellow tang from my tang due to aggression to some of my fairys and i added the tang last..but that fairy will start to hide and not come out and eat if it is being chased alot and if stressed they can die form it...i always introduce my new fish using a speicmen cup...

    yes they are two different fish..the body on the Mcoskers, Carpenters, and Yellowfin all look alike..but the filaments and anal fins is how you can tell them apart..a Mcoskers has one filament and its anal fin is red on the outer part..a Carpenters has 2-4 filaments and has a red and yellow anal...

    i would not advise it in a tank of your size..whipfins are on of the most aggressive fairys and i have kept them and seen it first hand and once they are established they become even more aggrssive to other fairys and flashers and will go after other small fish as well...it is a shame because...

    i agree with what has been posted..a lrage tank you mihgt be able to get away with a large fairy but i would not try it..i have seen first hand what a sixline can do and they can be down right nasty..and only get worse as they older
