    Mandarin

15 gal tank is small for a mandy, he will deplete pods in about a day or two. Good thing he is eating frozen he will need more than brine, also provide mysis shrimp and cyclops plus the other foods mentioned above. The more verity in his diet the healthier he will be.

tiny starfish eating my green star polyps and Zoa's! What eats them???

From my research most Asterina Stars are algae and detruis eaters. Here was a good link to some other pest stars http://www.chucksaddiction.com go to articles, then A Hitch Hikers Guid to the Reef. A lot of other good stuff there as well.

    Adding Corals

.You can add LR any time, if you have fish in your tank you need to QT the rock for 6 weeks. While in QT ghost feed tank as if there was a fish in tank this will feed the inverts living on the rock and keep the bacteria alive. As for adding coral this depends on the age of your tank, lighting...

tiny starfish eating my green star polyps and Zoa's! What eats them???

Flower right about the star population, I had a ton of them in my tank, thought about the Harlequin shrimp but the time I researched the problem and found the shrimp and found the LFS to buy the shrimp the population has decreased. I still see them here and there but not in mass quantities as...

tiny starfish eating my green star polyps and Zoa's! What eats them???

Please post a picture. Do they look like this. There are 4 strains of these star that will eat coral, you have one I guess. Since they multiple quickly by dividing getting rid of them will be hard. You can try harlequin shrimp they eat only star fish, but this will take time or remove them with...

    yellow tangs

Since your foxface was in the tank first the yellow will be fine. My concern is for any fish that follows after the yellow. You will need to watch him, if he bothers them I would put him in the QT for a month or so giving time for the new fish to settle in and the yellow would need to...

    Invertebrates keep dying

Since your tank is only 6 months old a lot of changes are going on your tank, I would go slow for the first year, less trouble that way. As for inverts having a trigger and dragon wrasse you won’t be able to keep them.

    yellow tangs

You don't have to hypo ever fish that goes in QT, some fish can stay in QT for three weeks and never show sign of ick. But in my case I'm currently QT'ing a Huma trigger, was in QT for 2 weeks then I saw ick. So now he is going threw hypo, if I started hypo right away he would be almost being...

    Aiptasia?

Yes is if you get too much in the water it will make it acidic and your PH will go down. So only do small quantities at a time then wait a bit and check your PH. If PH is good continue if not adjust PH, then do a few more. Joe's juice or something like it would work better doesn’t affect the...

    Continuous water changes

I have a friend doing this idea but he went a little further. He has a monitoring system that measure salinity, ammonia, PH, temp. and a few other things. The reason I bring this up that a normal top off system will not work with your set up. You will get evaporation but you will never add fresh...

    starting a 120 gal.

I don’t see a problem, water from the RO comes out slow. Is sand live sand or dry sand? Mixing salt in existing tank with sand, I would mix salt in a bucket first then add to tank. This way you won’t stirrup sand bed trying to mix salt.
