    Help - Being overtaken!!!!

I had a problem with that green algae on the glass once in my 55 gallon. Hate to burst your bubble, but the cleanup crew won't help much. Crabbies don't touch it and the snails are just too slow (imagine that!). Plus, they miss spots. I think a razorblade is your best option. And it's not...

    Blue leg slaughters Scarlet hermit

My blues rarely mess with my scarlets, just each other! Just the other day I was watching a duel between two blues. They were both claw-locked with each other and I guess the fighting got a little too intense. They were both propelled from their shells and went scurrying for the nearest...

    Powerhead question...

Ok, I know I've probably worn my welcome out with questions today. I swear this is the last one! Haha... :D Well, I'm in the process of planning a 75 gallon reef. Question is: How many powerheads would you guys suggest for optimal water flow? I'm also planning on purchasing a RedSea WaveMaker...

    Live Rock and Live Sand?

I'm definitely going to invest in live rock and live sand in the new 75 gallon reef I'm planning. Question: How much of each would be recommended for a reef system? I have experience with fish only, but I'm not sure if more is better concerning a reef tank. Also...have any of you had any good...

    Adding image to profile??

Kinda silly question...and not really fish-related...but how do I add an image or .gif to appear under my name in posts?? I went to Edit Profile and didn't see it there. I feel so left out...haha. Thanks so much! :)

    Jawfish and Live Sand??

I'm setting up a new 75 gallon reef. I have a jawfish in my current aquarium (with crushed coral) and would love to add one to this new 75. I'm planning on using live sand only on my new tank, however. I know that jawfish like to create tunnels and little caves and such. Will he be able to...

    UV sterilizers

Put it this way...we had a really bad ick outbreak. Our lion looked horrible. We went and bought a UV sterilizer...next day...he was 200% better. I think it's a great investment. Our lfs said we shouldn't run it constantly though...just when we noticed signs of infection, etc.
