I use kent marine essentials. It helps replace the iodine for my softies instead of having to do so many water changes.

hmm. that lighting is pretty low. I would try to get another or at least like another 7watt pc. But you could probably keep some sort of mushrooms maybe.

Also you will want to monitor your ammonia and nitrites real well and make sure you do alot of waterchanges. This will also elongate your cycle but at least your fish will live.

Wow. I hope any of your fish make it. I did cycle my tank with one yellow tail blue damsel but i felt so bad for him. He did make it and the fish is doing well but some don't. I would try and find a new lfs if I were you one that doesn't try to sell everything to you when it's not even cycled.

i do the same as oregonbud by leaving the blue pad in there and putting carbon in the box. Only i have an emporer 280

you probably will have a mini cycle. But i have no personal experience with it. Personally i would start to cycle the smaller tank before putting livestock in.

oh great i just saw a bristle worm. I don't think that would be the culpret b/c it was very small like an inch but very thin.

Just did a little night wathcing. there seems to be alot of what looks like pods around them. Also I saw what looked like small shrimp or monsterous pods.

thats why they just completly dissapear?? Oh, but i do feed them. The last time i did was last week and i fed them two days straight with live brine shrimp.
