I use 2 65 watt coralife pc lights with housing. I like mine but i would have gone Vho if i hadn't already bought these. They seem to work really well though.
i used mine when my tank was first set up and i had regular lighting. Most people dont use them b/c their lighting would melt the plastic or the plastic doesnt fit anymore. I can't use it any more b/c all my lights wouldn't fit on the top of the tank since i use 2 of the coralife 65 watt pc...
Ok, I had 65 watts pc and a 15 watt n.o. actinic. I went to the lfs and bought another 65 watt pc. So now i have 130 watts. My question is how do i introduce this new lighting??? Right now i have it turned on and my corals ar'nt closing up so.... what to do now
Hi sorry about this hope you get it i know it's kinda late only 5 months lol, I didnt see it until today. I normally don't go to the shawnee one b/c she really isnt the nicest person in the world. I usually go to okc or norman.
I didn't want it in the first place but my mom got it for me. How big do they get it is already at least 6 inches each tentacle so its about a foot in length. I have been stung by the thing and it left a little whelp this summer.
Ok, I have a little bare spot in my tank and its in a bad place right next to a condi anenome. Is there a good coral out there that can take a hit and hold its own close to the anenome??? Oh i have 65 watts pc w/ 50/50 bulb and 15 N.O. actenic bulb.
yeah i have it too, the top is nice and clean and under that is the cyano. One reason i have it is because of when the nitrogen gas escapes from the DSB water gets trapped in that area where the bubble left causing the cyano to grow. Then the sand falls back on to where the bubble escaped so...
