Wohoo i'm finally starting to get some noticeable coralline algea growth. It is now starting to grow on the glass and shells. I'm not adding anything to the water and i havn't done a water change yet. I guess what got it started was placing the rock in front of power head.

i went to the pet shop and they had boxes of base rock for 3 dollars a pound. It was dry and not in water. This was calcium carbonate rock the same stuff as the fiji live rock is made of.

Dude that was a little harsh. But take out the tang out b/c it grows too big and needs tons of swimming room. And it's recomended for 1 inch of fish for every 5 gallons. So you should only have about 6 1/2 inches of fish in there. Don't forget that is only a rule of thumb plus you want to...

Yeah i went to the reef shop and looked last weekend. I got 8 pounds of rock from there. Really nice place but sorta high. I personally like the one in Norman better. But The reef shop has tons of corals and fish. But i paid like 7.99 a pound for my rock. It was that other stuff besides...

We really don't have to worry bout the middle east for the gas most of their gas is shipped to europe and japan. Venezuela is the bigger issue for gas. With all the drug lords running the country.

Cool i'm deciding what additives to get for my tank. Looks good keep it up. Nano is the metric system. But they use it to describe the size of thier tank.
