Yeah i would go and get some better lights. Try VHO, Metalhalids, or some more flouresents.

well my yellowtail is pretty docile. He doesnt bite me at all. I read somewhere the yellowtail likes peaceful tankmates.

A Compatibility question???
yeah i want to get a smaller fish because i don't just want two fish in my tank. I saw a website that says maroons get up to 6 inches and the minimum tank size is 30gallons.

Feeding
My fish when ever someone walks in the room. He thinks it's feeding time. I don't have a set time, b/c practice lasts anywhere from 3:20 to 5:20.

O ok thanks, I just found a site for diy lighting that looks like a good thing and the lighting is waterproof so i think i might try that.
