We've decided to go with the MSX 200...on order now. I've seen it suggested more than once around here and haven't seen any major complaints. It seems that it will be able to handle our bioload once we begin adding more. Plus, our current skimmer is WORTHLESS! Thanks for the input!

We got a BTA about 8 months ago and when we introduced it, it made it's home under a rock and stayed there. When we upgraded to the 180/ we moved him with his rock and he stayed there, but has recently reached out into the light a little. So, is it normal? No idea. But you're not the only one.

I think you'll be just fine. We have more than one cat, and one of them gets up on the tank more often than we'd like! And the hair is NEVER ENDING. Hair gets in our tank, we take out what we see but it's never caused any problem. We had a canopy on the old tank that the cat always slept...
