Any other suggestions for a small fish? I'm going to get a flame angel in a couple of months to finish off my fish list, but thought I could maybe have one more small fish.

With the coral beauty, I think you are at maximum capacity. If you found another home for the angel, I would get something like a watchman goby or a bangaii cardinal (I don't know if it would be okay with a damsel) or firefish. Damsels get so mean, especially in a smaller tank.

OK, I think I'll go for it. Just made me worried that the LFS actually discouraged me from buying something. I actually walked out empty handed. I'll post how it goes... Thanks!

Our firefish really don't hang out in the rocks, except when they're sleeping at night. They usually just swim around outside of the rock. We have about 50 lbs of LR -- I'll find a picture and attach so you can see the setup. I appreciate the help, Tizzo. :)

Hmmm... I can't decide! I want a sixline - but my tank is doing so well and I'm scared that I'll introduce something that will start killing off all my little fishies...

I went to my LFS to get a sixline wrasse. The LFS guy asked me what I have in my tank (1 B&W clown, 2 Firefish, 1 yellow watchman) and he told me that the sixline may attack my firefish. He advised me against it unless I get a really tiny one. Anyone had problems with this? Should I think...

I was a student at University of Michigan and I slept in and was skipping class that day. When I woke up, I turned the news on just as the second plane was hitting. I tried so many times to call my (now) husband but it was hard to get through. His roommate was from New York and his dad worked...

I alternate what I feed my fish: flakes, cyclopeez or mysis and occasionally soak the food in Kent's garlic.

I have two firefish and an ocellaris. Sometimes firefish can fight - so I made sure to buy mine from the same tank and watched their behavior to make sure that they were fine with each other. Now all three of them (the firefish and ocellaris) are inseparable! They all are great fish!

Does anyone else have problems with their yellow watchman goby being a terror? Mine has attacked my purple firefish and put a gash in it's side. He will attack anything that gets even close to his SIDE of the tank (where he has his "cave"). Do I have too small of a tank for him? Stocking...

Yep, you'll need to cure it. It's pretty bad smelling (at least the Fiji rock I got was). I got it when my tank was first starting up and it kicked my cycle going - so there's a lot of die-off. Pretty good rock, though. :)
