I know the "Rule of Thumb" is 1'', to 5 g.

I am currently adding fish to my 75 gallon reef setup. I realize the 1 to 5 rule would equate to only 15 inches of fish. But I only recently saw that post and I have already ordered more fish. Currently I have 4 perculas, 1 yellow tang, and a green dragonet. Here is where it gets tricky...

    Blue Hermit Crabs

They are good scavengers but unfortunately they also eat snails. At least that is my experience with all hermits. I still keep them and what is left of the snails now keep away.

    Rainbow Urchin

Would anyone recomend or have any experience with Rainbow Urchins in reef tanks. I have some zoos, mushroom coral, and a goniopora. I understand that they could possibly hurt some corals. Any info would be appreciated.

    Brown Algae?

Ivan I think both of your points make sense. I believe several of my snails have been eaten and the hermit crabs are worthless. But the emerald crabs are champs.

    Brown Algae?

Thanks Ivan I bought one of the cleaner crews from this site that is suppose to be enough for a 55-100 gallon tank but maybe it is not enough.

    Brown Algae?

I have a brown Algae that is rapidly covering the entire bed of my 75 gallon reef setup. I'm charging my digital camera right now and will post pictures soon. At first the algae was just at one end of the tank and now it has spread. There is none on the glass but is almost covering much of...
