So I added a firefish gobie a couple of days ago, but understand they do better in pairs. I like both the firefish and the purple firefish. Will they live in harmony if I added a purple firefish? Or is that not a good idea and should I just stick with another firefish?

ok so if i add those pieces where we're talking, how do i regulate the water flow to both sides?? if i open the valve wont the water just keep going down to the sump? and none to the fuge? i am not a plumber and have never done a diy before, so i am trying to learn the basics here too...

so you only use a tsp per gallon that you are topping off with? ie-topoff 5 gals use 5tsp.

thats what i thought when i bought it. I am trying to figure out a kalk drip on another post to supp my acro and the other corals i plan to add i have hair algae galore right now and i scrape it out but it comes back. Might try to drip in the skimmer like bang guy posted...what do you think

ok great. I have been adding about 10 cuc everythime i go to the store. I dont have any fish right now, so i figured i would not put more cuc than i had food source for them. i definitly plan to add more cuc this week. probably more than 75. Thanks for pointing that out! Might get those 5...

I have a 75 and I want to start dripping kalk. I found an article on how to mix and what to use but it did not say how much and how often. I read about 1 tsp kalk per gallon of tank. but how much water do i mix that with?? i top off ro/di about a gallon at a time as needed. So should I mix...
