    Daisy Polips questions

What size tank do you have and what kind of lighting. Where to place them in the tank will depend on that. I have a 75 gallon tank with a Nova Pro t-5 fixture. I keep mine mid tank, and I do not feed them. I have found them to grow very fast!

    Are FoxFace reef safe?

Mine grazed around the rocks alot, including the corals. I dont think he specifically nipped at the corals. He did constantly pick at my feather duster tubes.

Im removing my CC tomorrow and have a couple questions

I like it so much better! I had a bare bottom for awhile, but it still collected things on the bottom. I added a very thin layer of sand this summer (25lbs in a 75 gallon), and just recently broke down my 20 gallon tank and added the LR and LS in from that system. I had thought about doing...

Im removing my CC tomorrow and have a couple questions

I did this last year. I took out most of my rock and the fish. So much gets stirred up. Be prepared to do a good size water change as well. Usually when you stir up the bed, you can spike levels in your tank. My tank has been so much healthier since getting the CC out. Even though I...

    great piece of live rock

I have read about people putting super glue gel on them so that they are completely incased, then when the glue is dry, break them off. Rinse the rock (with tank water in a bucket), then you should be good to go.

Thanks Lmecher, Clowns are hosting, but I'm not seeing them feeding the Nems. I'll keep up with feeding and see how things go.

75 gallon with a t-5 nova pro. 6 54 watt bulbs, so a little over 4 watts per gallon. Have them at top of tank. They were at the top of the other persons tank under MHs. They certainly seem very happy, they have all stayed on their rock, minus one that just put it's foot on the rock below...

    Another feeding Anenome thread!!

I bought a rock last weekend with 7 bubble tip anenomies on it. I have fed them twice. Today being the second time. I have only ever owned a condy anen. before, and that was awhile ago, when I should not have owned one and did not know enough about them! When I feed them they immed. retract...

    feeding humongoid brain

I purchased a maze brain (at least I thing that is what it is) last week. The person I bought it from said they place some mysis shrimp on it 1-2x per week for it to eat. I have read people feed their corals a few minutes after lights out?? Just checking to see how I should go about this. Thanks.

    Culturing copepods

I tried doing this in a tank for a period time just after x-mas. When I researched it online, people had them in mason jars in windows with an air bubbler giving a little circ and air to the water. You put a sponge in the jars for them to breed in and feed the jaw very tiny amounts of high...
