how long can corals be out of the water?

do you have to use the hammer and chisel under the water? Or is it okay to have the coral out of the water for 2 or 3 minutes to get the rock broke?

That THING is sooo gross! As stated above I almost barfed in my mouth But look at it on the bright side, your tank isn't tooo awful big. I have a 200 gallon...I couldn't imagine tryin to find that nasy eewwy gross thing. Goodluck & keep us posted:) You'll have to take a pic once you find it!

Ya, I definantly want to pick out things I like and things that are colorful. I was just wondering which one's grew the fastest. I knew a lot of the softies, shrooms & polyps grew relitively fast but I didn't know as far as LPS's go. Thanks for the list Flower:)

As far as fish go i feed mine...mysis, bloodworms, marine cuisine, brine(occasionally) cyclopzeeze...that's about it. Try to feed frozen more than the flakes or pellets bc I've read that that pollutes your water. As far as corals go...I think it depends on the types of corals your getting. Some...

Well that sucks...at least it's a relatively inexpensive coral...as far as corals go. I paid 35 bucks for that lil hunk I got...I think I got ripped off, but that's some of the lfs stores for ya! Have you ever gotten anymore?
